MAID for me
From the brilliant mind behind the translucent acrylic laser cut cradle... now introducing (albeit, a few months late..) the MAID CHAIR:
A big thankyou to my lovely sister-in-law Chelsea for bringing to my attention this very plausible future addition to my acrylic collection (if only it were in production...).

Trompe L'oeil Chair Chair Pads
I'm glad I don't work in an office because if I DID, I'm pretty sure I would need one of these Trompe L'oeil Chair Chair Pads.. and this would just not be okay considering they are, at this time, merely prototypes. =(

Bösendorfer EDGE
You know, something I really miss about living at home is playing piano. Maybe I could think about putting some money away for this little guy... would be a nice addition to my apartment, no?

Philippe Starck: Why Design?
If you find your self with nothing better to do on a Friday night (or even if you do), this is a pretty good time, I guarantee:
Philippe Starck's School of Design
HOW is it that I only now found out that my absolute favourite designer, the unbelievably talented and prolific Philippe Starck, is fronting a reality show on BBC2?! Due to air next year, the six-part series under the working title of "Philippe Starck's School of Design" will see 10 aspiring designers work alongside the internationally renowned Starck for a period of several months in hopes to be rewarded with a six-month placement at his design agency in Paris. CAN'T WAIT.

Kelly Wearstler for Viceroy
Until recently, I would have been lying if I had said I preferred staying at hotels to my own apartment. That was, of course, before I discovered the genius that is Kelly Wearstler. Until I spend one night at each of the following hotels, my life will not be complete:
VICEROY PALM SPRINGS
VICEROY SANTA MONICA

John Reeves' Louis Collection
"Our rich, cultural past is something to be cherished and ‘Louis’ pays homage to that rich history. The range is as original as a new pianist learning a piece of Mozart; the pianist can always bring a new, individual impression of their own to the work whilst taking nothing away from the grand master himself.
By splitting a turned leg into quarters, one round becomes 4 'corners'. The hard-edged external lines juxtaposed with soft inner curves give the Louis range a contemporary baroque look. Each piece is both a statement in its own right and is able to fit in with the eclectic collections of furniture that make up so many homes. The seamless lacquered or veneered pieces give the impression of a cast or injection moulded process of production, which adds to the charm, and simplicity of the design."

It all began with Modern Baroque Interiors...
It's true that I need every book Daab has ever published, but if I had to narrow it down...
Yes, that is narrowed down.
